CAN YOU DRIVE THE MACHINE MANUALLY?

Yes! To operate the machine manually all the operator has to do is flip a switch on the dash. Kodama’s hardware is deliberately non-invasive.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SKIDDER GETS STUCK?

Our operator can normally self-recover. If that doesn’t work, we call upon the crew to assist, just like a traditional operation.
HOW DOES COMMUNICATION WORK BETWEEN THE REMOTE OPERATOR AND THE CREW?

Our remote operators can communicate with your crew using your traditional channels. They use a Starlink-to-CB radio connection or a cellphone, whichever is preferred by your crew.
WHO FUELS THE MACHINE?

During early deploymeny, a Kodama Support Technician handles fueling and greasing the skidder. After that, a member of the logging crew typically takes over those daily maintenance tasks. We use the dealer for comprehensive service.
